Paint Night
Tues, October 7
6:00 pm in Russell Hall
You are invited to join us for an evening of artist expression. Even if you have never painted before – fear not – we will be led by artist Amy Sauer, who provides all the supplies as well as patient instruction. The church will provide the atmosphere, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. You may bring your own wine or beer. You should arrive by 6 and begin painting promptly at 6:30. Cost is $30. We have chosen Birch Birds to paint that night. Wait till you see all the different interpretations of this same images.
So mark your calendars now.
To sign up, please call the church office at 508-892-3274
What a beautiful day for the festival! It was a lot of fun being outdoors on this crisp fall day, seeing friends and family. On top of that, we made 32 pans of apple crisp and sold every last bit. Some people tell us that they only come to the fair to get our delicious apple crisp. Thank you to everyone that helped to make it such a wonderful success.
Can you believe Sept is here already! Wow! Summer flew by. But as the days shorten and the cool air settles in, we look forward to the most beautiful season in New England, the Fall. We are so lucky to have our church on the common, enabling us to share in all the fun filled festivities on Harvest Fair Day.
A New England fall fair would not be the same without the wonderful aroma of warm apple crisp filling the air. Especially the apple crisp baked at our church for our very own Apple Crisp & Ice Cream booth. Folks say they look forward every year to having this treat. We are told they are never disappointed with the results. And of course there will be always popular popcorn and soda at the stand set up on our church lawn.

Friday afternoon/evening, Sept 19th, will find us busy in the kitchen baking apple crisp or setting up our booth on the common. If you can spare one, two hours or even all day, we would be thrilled to have you join us. The Harvest Fair is very well attended. We need to make a ton of apple crisp! Come and help us represent our fine church and taste the best apple crisp ever. With the long cold winter ahead of us and the high price of oil, every bit of fund raising will help offset the cost of heating our church.
Happy New Year!
I have spent today posting a lot of pictures that I and others took in 2013 and never got updated to the website. Links are to the ones I posted today but there are others – take a look at all the pictures in our Photo Library – it is a fun stroll down Memory Lane. Click on the photo to see more pictures of the event or go to our photo page. Enjoy!!

Take a chance on our great raffle baskets and donations from local merchants. Bid on a great find in the Silent Auction.

Check out the Christmas Room for decorations.

The knitting room is full of great hand made items.

Take a break and have lunch in Russell Hall. Tell all of your friends. It is a great way to get into the Christmas Spirit.
The Mulrains have challenged our church members to donate 150 cans of green beans to the Leicester Food Bank. These cans will be used for the Thanksgiving baskets distributed to needy families. They have personally pledged that whatever we don’t collect, they will make up the difference. Lets make a difference in our community, I am sure we can meet the challenge.
